IGNOU MBA Eligibility Criteria

Below are the eligibility criteria for taking admission in MBA Distance IGNOU:-

• Any graduate with 50% marks for the general category and 45% for the reserved category are eligible to take admission in the IGNOU MBA course. This also includes Chartered Accountancy, Cost Accountancy, and Company Secretaryship.
• The candidate must have cleared the OPENMAT entrance test of IGNOU conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) to take admission in the MBA course offered by IGNOU.
• Age Restriction – There is no age bar to admission in the MBA.

OPENMAT Entrance Test Of IGNOU

For admission in distance MBA offered by IGNOU University, you have to qualify in OPENMAT Management aptitude entrance test of IGNOU conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) and this entrance test IGNOU conducts twice a year usually in the months of August and February.

This entrance exam will be conducted in Computer-Based Test mode and There will be a total of 200 Multiple Choice Questions which you will have to complete in 3 hours time and also questions are divided into four categories General Awareness, English Language, Quantitative Aptitude, and Reasoning.

IGNOU MBA FEES

IGNOU MBA Programme consists of a total of 21 courses and The fees for each subject are Rs. 1800/-. So the total fees to pursue MBA Programme from Indira Gandhi National Open University is 21X1800 = Rs. 37800.

IGNOU MBA Admission Procedure

Firstly, check your eligibility – As we mentioned earlier any graduate with 50% marks for the general category and 45% for the reserved category are eligible to take admission in the IGNOU MBA course and this also includes Chartered Accountancy, Cost Accountancy, and Company Secretaryship and candidate must have cleared the OPENMAT entrance test of IGNOU conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) twice in a year.

Second, if you are eligible for the OPENMAT entrance test of IGNOU then apply for OPENMAT and fill up the application form online and after fill-up, the form, prepare and attend the entrance exam.

After giving the entrance exam, you can know the result of the exam through the university website or through the scorecard sent to you by Indira Gandhi National Open University.
